If you’ve ever read Abby Johnson’s book unPlanned, you know that many people who begin to work in the abortion industry do so out of a misguided sense of compassion for women in need. They typically have huge hearts and care very deeply about humanity, but have sadly fallen for the lies that abortion and contraceptives save women from harm and distress.

Women like Abby give us great hope that as our message of authentic holistic care for women’s bodies and spirits begins to be absorbed that there will be many more workers waking up to the reality of their jobs. We’re hopeful there will be more workers leaving the abortion industry in search of work that truly empowers and serves women’s needs. These former abortion clinic workers will need employment and a place to heal from the scars inflicted by their past work. We think our Guiding Star Centers would be a wonderful fit for these people.

We’re honored to have such a kind endorsement from Abby Johnson for our vision and our work. We’re so inspired by her new project, And Then There Were None, which is working to help abortion workers to leave that industry. We’re hopeful we can partner with them in helping these workers find jobs that truly lift them up as people and give them the tools and worldview necessary to truly meet women’s needs.

“I am excited to support the work of The Guiding Star Project in building up a comprehensive Culture of Life!

The Guiding Star vision of creating holistic women’s centers is something that resonates with my heart as I have longed to work in a place that truly strives to meet the needs of women facing decisions about their health and  family planning in a natural and empowering way.

Their call for the pro-life and pro-women movements to work together is a progressive and powerful next step in ending abortion in our country. I encourage everyone who cares about women and ending abortion to support this project and the important work they do.”
