This was so much fun to put together. I laughed. I cried. I celebrated with strangers. There aren’t too many things I enjoy in this world more than pregnancy announcements. My wife and I have never been able to do something fun like this. Mostly because we suck at keeping secrets and have no filter when it comes to sharing our joy. We have 5 kids, 1 of them is adopted, and never have we ever been able to put together a big over-the-top announcement. I can’t help but get a little jealous when I see such fun and creative pregnancy announcements on YouTube, but I am so glad they are out there. I love the joy on the face of grandparents, or the tears of the couple that has been struggling with infertility. Every child should be welcomed into the world with nothing but excitement, happiness, and a big ‘ole hullabaloo!! So in no particular order, let’s jump right in.

1. This guy is so excited and he does’t even know why. I love how Grandma figures it out and just laughs at him taking all day long to get with the program.

 

2. I want to be best friends with this man. Or at least give him the most epic hi-five of all time. Their story makes me so happy. “After 4 miscarriages and 1 stillborn birth, we had given up on the idea of having babies of our own, especially at our age…But God!”

 

3. So sweet. Instant tears. I love how he keeps hugging the little pacifier.

 

4. After 5 years of struggling with infertility, congrats guys!! And the husband’s response, “What about our Aruba trip?” Classic!!!

 

5. You gotta appreciate a wife that goes with a theme that she knows her husband will LOVE. And Kudos to Disney for helping her make this happen. Now what will she do for the next one?!?!?

8. Some people just aren’t as excited, though. Siblings can be “Exacerbating”!!!!!! I bet he’s an awesome big brother anyway.

 

9. So good and so creative. And she’s right, she really does belong in the car pool lane.

 

10. And to round it all off, who can forget this over the top, in your face, and completely unapologetic pregnancy announcement. We will be humming this one in our heads when we announce our next pregnancy. That’s right. We have 5 and we just can’t stop either…
